I'm SamsamDaGameMan, real name Sami (call me Sam, it's ok), a retro/Overwatch streamer from Finland.
I am a huge loves of retro games, especially the NES era. Mega Man and Super Mario Bros. games were my life as a kid. I started streaming in May 2017 so I'm very new to the Twitch scene but I can honestly say I've loved every minute of it!
When I'm not streaming or working I try to catch all the Pokémon in Pokémon Go or hang out with my two awesome cats. Music is also a big hobby of mine, I'm a classical voice major so even though it's not what I do as my job it's kinda hard to just quit singing and I'm not intending to. As long as I have a voice it's gonna be heard.
My gaming goals? Probably make people laugh as I rage. :D I tend to get pretty salty if I'm doing horrible, but I'd like to believe it's in an entertaining fashion. Honestly though if I can make people smile while watching me I think I've done well. It would be an absolute dream to one day get partnered, but...we'll see.
Currently, in retro, I have some Mario games coming up, some Zelda, some Final Fantasy games...if I only have time for a very quick stream then I'll play Overwatch. Best game I've ever played is Kingdom Hearts, haven't streamed that yet but I intend to.
Music streams are what I do for very special occasions, I've done one so far when I hit 500 followers. I have no real goals as a music streamer as gaming is more of my thing now, but again, if I can people feel good, I'm happy.
I sing and play the piano. I'll perform whatever's requested if I know the song but I'll make sure I'll put my own little twist on it. I have a classical background in singing, I've sung in 18 languages back in my college days, and most of them I've even used on stream! :D
My best memories are probably from taking down trolls or mean people. I'm a super aggressive moderator, and if someone lifts a finger against a streamer I love, they better watch out. It's heartbreaking to see a streamer visibly break a bit due to a troll's words, but to see the said streamer overcome that situation...priceless.
I moderate as a sign of support. The channels I mod are what I throw my hosts first to.
My best memories are from viewing gaming streams. To see a streamer make it past a section they've been struggling with for a while is always awesome to see.
I have a lot of streamers I love, not gonna drop names to favor one over the other though.
